Antistatic Brushes

Antistatic brushes provide an economic and easy fit solution to reduce static build up on material handling processes particularly those involving film and paper.  Designed as a passive eliminator, the extremely fine stainless steel yarns or carbon fibres operate effectively without damaging sensitive or delicate surfaces.

Manufactured using stainless steel yarn, ideal for discharging static energy.  Hairs can be cut to length.

Supplied in 1 metre (1000mm) lengths with a 15mm trim and have integral backing tape.

The brushes are recommended to be installed as close to the source of the electrostatic charge as possible and the static is discharged through the tips of the brush filaments to earth through the process equipment.  The extremely fine stainless steel or carbon fibre yarns will operate without damaging sensitive or delicate surfaces.  In fact, it is not even necessary for the brush to touch the substrate to be effective, a small clearance of 1-2mm is often sufficient.
